Terms of service
Last updated October 6, 2026
1. The service
Somecal is a social media content calendar: ideas, post planning, approvals with clients, tasks, notes and time tracking. It is provided by SugarArt OÜ (registry code 16743720, Tartu maakond, Kastre vald, Roiu alevik, Kesktänav 4-2, 62122). Somecal is currently in a closed beta: accounts are created by invitation and features may change.
The current version does not publish posts to social networks itself. You are responsible for publishing on the platforms; reminders and due dates help, but are not a guarantee.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. We recommend two-factor authentication.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. If something looks wrong, change your password and tell us.
- You must be at least 16, or act for an organisation that may authorise you.
3. Workspaces, roles and clients
- A workspace owner decides whom to invite and which rights to give, and is responsible for what the workspace's members do.
- The workspace owner is the controller of personal data in the workspace's content (e.g. client contacts, comments). We process it on their behalf as a processor under these terms and the privacy policy: only to provide the service, securely, in the EU and following the owner's instructions (including deletion and export).
- Anyone a share link is passed to can use it. Share links carefully and revoke them when needed.
4. Your content
- Content you add stays yours (or your client's). You allow us to store it, process it (e.g. thumbnails) and show it to the people you give access to, only to provide the service.
- You must have the rights to everything you upload. Don't add illegal content, malware or material that infringes someone else's rights.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the service in ways that harm others or the service itself, including:
- trying to access other accounts or workspaces, or security testing without our permission;
- overloading the service, scraping it, or getting around its limits;
- sending spam through invitations or share links.
6. Price
The service is free during the beta. If a paid plan comes, we tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can decide whether to continue.
7. Availability and liability
- We make a reasonable effort to keep the service running and your data backed up, but we can't promise uninterrupted operation. The service is provided "as is".
- We are not liable for indirect damage or lost profits. Our liability is not limited for intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it.
- Keep your own copy of important content too (Settings → Team → Workspace data).
8. Suspension and termination
- You can delete your account or workspace at any time, and download your data first.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where needed to protect the service or other users. Where possible we tell you first and let you download your data.
9. Changes
We announce substantial changes at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
10. Law and disputes
Estonian law applies. We try to settle disputes by talking first; otherwise Harju County Court decides. As a consumer you keep the protections of the law of your country of residence.
